CARLOS MOURA – Founder & Marine Biologist

With over 20 years dedicated to the ocean, Carlos combines science, safety, and passion for the sea. A PhD Marine Biologist and experienced diver, he has explored coastal ecosystems across Portugal, the Atlantic islands, to Central America, the USA, and West Africa.

Credentials:

🎓 PhD in Marine Biology (University of Aveiro, 2011)
🌍 Diving and research across Portugal, Atlantic Islands, USA, Central America & West Africa
🛟 11 summers of lifeguard service (Costa da Caparica, Aveiro, Ericeira)
👨‍🏫 Lifeguard trainer & Surf Instructor
🏄 Surfer / Bodyboarder with 30+ years of international experience (Hawaii, Tahiti, Mexico, Fiji, Indonesia, Canaries, Cape Verde, etc.)
